A committee discussion goes sour when the group is polarized by the opinions of its newest member. A recess is called, during which time the group siding with the new girl decides to sing some chorales. They sing so beautifully that half of the opposition is won over, creating a new schism between the listeners for and the listeners against. The listening supporters join in the singing, winning over half of the remaining opposition. This pattern continues until the opposition is only one person. What will he do? |
